As Head Administrator Shakespeare says, it is what it is

I hate managerial jargon. I hear a lot of it at my current job - people make up words all the time. It's a place where something like the Corporate BS generator would come in handy-dandy.

So let's see where all these new made-up English words are going! I just found this recently:

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, online

and it's pretty shameful, actually, as apparently it's been up since '93. Oh, well. As the bard's eternal buddy Geoffrey Chaucer (you know, that famous human resources consultant from England?) said, "better late than never."

Some other Englishy* links I like:

Mr. William Shakespeare and the Internet

The Phrase Finder

The OED

This post is sorta kinda probably a waste of space. I'm gonna go read A Christmas Carol now - maybe. Or maybe I'll just dig out some of my old Sweet Valley Highs. This former English major has taste.

*It's my blog and I'll waste the space how I wanna.
